Jesus said in Matthew 28 to “go and make disciples.” He also told us through the Apostle Paul in Ephesians to “equip the saints for the work of the ministry.”
One of the first things Jesus did in His time of ministry on this earth was recruiting and making disciples. He trained up 12 disciples in the things of God. He taught them about God’s Kingdom, faith, prayer, obedience and devotion. He showed them how to grow their own relationships with God, as well as reaching others for the Kingdom. That is what discipleship is all about.
As believers, we have all been called to “go and make disciples.” It’s how the kingdom of God grows. As you lead others to Christ, send them out to reach even more people with the Good News of salvation through Jesus Christ and teach them how to live in obedience to Him.
At MBBC, we have several classes, events, and courses to start your discipleship growth…
